Deep Shoq is a prolific producer and a figurehead of the Lithuanian urban–electronic beat scene. Coming from a Baltic background, he encompasses various styles, blending future beats, contemporary electronica, soul, bass music and a groove based on jazzy chords ( not to mention the hip-hop and R&B influence). He’s worked with Adult Swim, Darker Than Wax, and Project Mooncircle and has no signs of halting his inevitable takeover of chill dance music any time soon.

"`Hypnosis` is a hypnotic session, perhaps even a sacred music ritual that aims to take ones thoughts on a soothing journey. It's a simple trip to clear your mind from any obstacles and redundant information you may encounter in your daily life. Something most of us need. I hope the listener will ease their mind and have a pleasant journey.

Regarding the genre - this EP reflects the style of current Deep Shoq - full of atmospheric soundscapes, some synthy aesthetics from the 80s, and sounds of instruments sampled by myself (like moondrum or piano). Primarily inspired by Future Garage, with roots in beats/hip hop." - Deep Shoq
