EDAPOLLO
MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA
Ed Bidgood is a multidisciplinary artist from Bristol, but currently residing in Melbourne. Ed’s strong aesthetic taste is evident in his music and his designs, each of which are unique, environmental, and incredibly soothing. It’s easy to get lost deep within any of edapollo’s works, as they seem to create an entirely new world, loosely built on our own, but containing only the parts that we all want to feel.

SANCTUARY
EP / May 26, 2017
"I’m excited to finally share some new music, I think I’ve learnt a lot as a producer, musician and human being over the last couple of years and therefore the sound of this EP has matured a lot since my last release. One of my aims with this release was to create something that people can listen to in a variety of moods and contexts, I think the music could work equally well in a club environment, to relaxing at home or driving along an open road.” - edapollo

TROPIC CIRCLES
EP / June 27, 2015
"With Tropic Circles I wanted to experiment with a variety of ideas, tempos, sounds and styles to make something rich and colourful. I didn't want to make something predictable or derivative, I wanted the listener to go on a new journey with each track. A lot of the music was produced last summer, inspired by sunny days and good times with friends and I think you can hear that in the tracks. I grew up playing a lot of guitar, so that still plays a key role in my music whilst also exploring the creative possibilities available in modern production. Having an iPhone also allowed me to record different sounds and noises spontaneously whilst out and about and I enjoyed using these types of additional layers to create ambience within the music." - edapollo
“In Edapollo's own words, the Bristol producer's new Tropic Circles EP is ‘rich and colourful.’ Having purveyed the four-track release, I agree wholeheartedly.” - Indie Shuffle
