"In the past, I would often tend to overload my compositions according to my inspiration. I wanted to give myself a new challenge for this album. Allowing myself only a limited time to design a piece and stay reasonable in its arrangement. I wanted to work on the overall shape, playing with the colors, the grain, and the emotion of each instrument rather than creating a dense mixture of textures. I could say that there is less emphasis on my usual compositional techniques... I put myself in a reflection rather than letting myself go by my instinct to see where it could lead me. This album tells scenes through feelings and questions. Not in a contemplative way. I wanted to put forward the expression of the body and the senses. Of the flesh and the soul. To avoid saying everything in order to leave a freedom of interpretation through the emotions. It's a bit like riddles. The voice of my friend Drew inspired me a lot. I had preciously kept some vocals (gold) of our collaboration on another project. His grain and vocal melancholy touched me enormously and gave me a lot of ideas and strength to make this album." - METEOLOGIST
