PRIZM WIZARD
HIKONE, JAPAN
Prizm Wizard is a bassist, producer, and sound designer based in Japan. He started his musical quest back when he was a kid jamming on his grandparent's Yamaha PSR-36 synthesizer. Later on, he started playing Tuba in middle school and was immediately infatuated with the low end, which led him to pick up the bass guitar when he was 15. Since then, he’s had the opportunity to study under bass masters Tony Grey (Hiromi, John Mclaughlin), Denson Angulo, and Scott Terry, who instilled in him a strong sense of rhythm and musicality. In the past several years, he’s picked up music production and sound design, and has been hard at work conjuring up unique sounds and tracks, realizing his vision for music.
